continental drift

Continental Drift. Yep. That's how I would explain the way my blog(s) are changing:

Slowly, almost imperceptibly, but most definitely.

If you're wondering at the lack of posts, wonder no longer- I'm doing a total, complete, massive overhaul. I had my original blog on Blogspot. My husband set up my own site, and in my optimism, I thought I would weed through and hand pick the posts that would make it from the old site to the new site.

Oh, I am a VERY funny girl. And I write far too much to ever get caught up.

Then there's the sex blog, which I've used to contemplate and express an entire part of my being that I wasn't comfortable tackling in an every day, this is just normal chit chat, sort of mode that I tend to write in, so it became a separate site.

Blog pile up.

Now comes the tricky part- choosing a new format, a new CMS, and then it's up to my computer ninja hubby to smash it all together using the magical computer code-speak that I am not fluent in, not one bit. And that is no small task, mind you, so the idea has been sitting on a shelf, so to speak, for quite a while, as we tried to both focus on the truly important things and feel like we were both staying afloat in the sea of To Do Lists that life is.

A few months of sporadic writing has given me the time required to actually (gasp!) finish putting our house together. I've been working on it since we moved in last August. That sort of unfinished business drives me batty. Other than refinishing the dining table, everything is just about done. Well, finishing the table- my husband built it himself. Now I merely have to decide how I want it finished, which has thus far involved endless research and many library books about furniture building and finishing. I still haven't decided. (chuckles)

At any rate, that's what's up. I'll be back, same bat time, same bat channel, or at least this URL will forward you to the finished product. Until then....
